It’s great to hear from people who have found pain relief from using our Tiger Paw wrist supports.

Relief from wrist pain for my daughter!

After several sessions of aggressive massage therapy and lots of icing, my daughter’s wrists still felt like they were gonna “snap” after any kind of tumbling in gymnastics. She tried a friend’s Tiger Paws at practice and was pain free. Ordered a pair for my daughter that night and received them in three days, in time for her next competition, which she did great at!! Great product!!! Do not need t pursue physical therapy now! Pain is gone!

New Waterproof Tiger Paws are a Hit!

There are a lot of benefits when it comes down to the brand Tiger Paw. When I wear them on tower, they support my wrist because the impact of the water is hard on your wrists if you don’t have support. The new design for the wrist guards have a unique texture and look. What I like most is that they are waterproof and are light weight when they get wet. If anyone asks me for a recommendation for wrist guards I always say Tiger Paw. Not to mention the new material on the waterproof Tiger Paws also just looks cool!

Tiger Paws as a Yoga Wrist Support

A popular misconception about wrist supports in general, including our Tiger Paws, is that they prevent the wrist from flexing at all and hold the wrist in a locked straight position. I was confused about this myself when I was first introduced to Tiger Paws. I asked myself, how can someone do yoga, where it’s necessary to bend the wrists for most poses, if their wrist is locked straight by a wrist support?

The answer is – they don’t lock your wrist in a straight position! The Tiger Paw merely provides extra support during the flexing of your wrist to help prevent soreness, or in some cases injury. You can think of it as strapping on some extra muscles in your wrist. Depending on how stiff you adjust the Tiger Paw through the use of our plastic and foam inserts, and the tightness of the Velcro straps, you control how much support it provides.

Watch Elaine provide a great demonstration in this video doing some fantastic yoga poses, makes me want to take up yoga!

Tiger Paws for Pain Caused by Loose Wrist Joints

I traded a few emails recently with a customer who described a use for Tiger Paw wrist supports that I had never heard of. He told me that he had very loose wrist joints and when he slept at night, he woke up with severe wrist pain if he didn’t wear wrist supports.

He had discovered Tiger Paws at a local store. He had been using a hard plastic wrist support, but in addition to being too uncomfortable to sleep in, his wife wasn’t thrilled about getting thumped in the middle of the night with those things. After he tried Tiger Paws, he was sold. He’s been using Tiger Paws now for well over 10 years, and his marriage is safe!

Which Color of Tiger Paw Best Matches Skin Tones

A frequent question asked of us here at Tiger Paw Wrist Supports is which color is closest to nude. I had a customer just yesterday who ordered the royal blue Tiger Paw, it is really pretty! Shortly after the order came in she sent me a slightly panicked email saying that her coach was requiring a nude color instead of the nice blue one she had ordered.

No worries, I sent her back a message telling her that the Sand colored Tiger Paw is the best match for Caucasian skin tones, and switched her choice for her in the shopping cart!
